Madonna Simms, founder and CEO of St. Joseph's Enrichment, is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Education and a strong commitment to fostering the growth of children and families. Her vision has shaped a highly respected, in-demand program that has enriched the lives of many. Notably, several former students, now in university, have returned to contribute to the program, continuing its legacy of learning and mentorship. As St. Joseph’s Enrichment celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024, this milestone highlights two decades of Madonna’s leadership and the enduring positive influence her program has had on the community.

YANA MALNIEVA

Yana Malneva is a creative and dynamic person with over 12 years of experience in education and working with children. Her passion for nurturing creativity, both in herself and others, drives her to design engaging and interactive programs that allow children to express themselves freely. Whether it’s through Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Culinary Arts, Yana encourages children to explore their imagination and discover new ways to learn and grow.

In addition to her managerial skills, Yana’s background in dance brings a unique touch to her approach. She combines her love for movement with her role as a leader, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met while creating a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. As a multilingual educator, Yana’s ability to speak three languages brings a wealth of knowledge and energy for communion.

With a flexible schedule, a passion for creativity that truly knows no bounds, and a commitment to excellence, Yana’s vision and enthusiasm make her a key part of the after-school program’s success. Her creativity is the driving force behind a program where children’s imaginations can run wild, and learning becomes an exciting adventure.

KATRINA BOLAND

Katrina Boland, once a student at St. Joseph’s, is now a certified Primary/Elementary teacher with an Education Degree. Since 2017, she has been working with K-6 students at St. Joseph’s. Katrina serves as the Arts Coordinator at the center, assisting with homework and planning various enrichment-themed activities. Known for her exceptional organizational skills, she is the driving force behind planning and managing all the major events at St. Joseph’s. From concept to execution, Katrina leads event management and ensures every detail is handled to perfection. St. Joseph’s offers a positive, fun, and enriching environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
